About ADHD Bookmark
ADHD Bookmark is a card catalog of tools, gadgets, creators, communities and reading apps for adults with ADHD. Every card is stamped, dated and re-checked on a schedule, and the cards that stop earning their place are returned in public.
Why this exists
The useful ADHD tools are scattered across old Reddit threads, 40-minute videos and gift guides written by people who have never lost their keys. Most lists are written once and never updated, so they keep recommending apps that shut down and gadgets that changed. ADHD Bookmark is the alternative: a library with a librarian. Things get added when they earn it, re-checked on a schedule, and honestly returned when they stop pulling weight.
How the catalog works
Everything here is a card. A card has a stamp: KEEP means still in use after 30 days or more, WORTH A LOOK means real merit with a situational fit, and RETURNED means tried and retired, with the reason published. Each card also has a one-line reason, a price band in dollar signs, a confidence line that says how much testing it got (owned and used, tested briefly, community-sourced with a stated number of reports, or a listing-based check), and two dates: when it was added and when it was last checked.
Cards live on nine shelves, from gear and home to reading and audiobooks. Shortlists rank the cards for one job, such as visual timers or key finders, with how-to-choose notes, comparison tables and sources. Guides, notes and reference pages go deeper on single questions. The full rules are on the desk.
How cards are checked
Gear and reading-app cards are re-checked quarterly for price band, availability and model generation, against official store pages, pricing pages and help centers. Creator, podcast and community cards are re-checked twice a year for activity and cadence. Every check updates the card's checked date. The most recent gear and home check was on 2026-11-04. When a product is discontinued or a link dies, the card is re-stamped with the reason rather than quietly removed.
Who publishes ADHD Bookmark
© 2026 ADHD Bookmark. The catalog is maintained by a small editorial desk that follows the rules on the desk. We do not publish names of testers we cannot stand behind, and no card claims more testing than it got. Our original research, such as the reading app studies, is listed on the research page with its method and sources.
How the site makes money
Some links on cards earn us a commission, including Amazon links. Commissions never decide what gets a stamp, and purchase links come off RETURNED cards the day they are stamped: we do not earn on things we told you to skip. The detail is on disclosures. If a product built by our publisher ever appears in the catalog, its card carries a bordered box that says so.
What the desk refuses
Supplements and nootropics, permanently, at any commission. Clinic endorsements. Stamps that were not earned under the published rules. Medical advice of any kind: everything here is a support, not a treatment, and decisions about diagnosis and medication belong with a clinician; see the medical disclaimer. Before paying any online clinic, run our clinic vetting checklist, which carries no affiliate links.
Suggestions and corrections
Prices and stamps are corrected at each scheduled re-check, and every correction is dated on the card. Always confirm the current price on the seller's page before you buy.
What each stamp promises
A KEEP stamp is a promise that the thing is still in use after 30 days or more and still does the job it was bought for. A WORTH A LOOK stamp promises real merit and a stated fit, not that it suits everyone. A RETURNED stamp promises that we tell you why it left: discontinued, broken by an update, overpriced for what it does, or simply abandoned. Stamps change only under the rules on the desk, and a stamp never changes because a seller asked or a commission changed.
How prices are shown
Cards show a price band in dollar signs rather than a single price, because prices move every week and a band stays true for longer. Where a shortlist names an exact price, it says where and when it was seen, for example "$38.95 at timetimer.com, checked 2026-11-04". Prices are US prices before tax unless a card says otherwise. If a seller's page disagrees with ours, the seller's page is right, and the card is corrected at the next check.
Reading and Magic Bookmark
The reading and audiobooks shelf opened on 2026-10-27, so every card there starts at WORTH A LOOK: KEEP needs 30 days of use. One of those cards is Magic Bookmark, an iPhone app that recaps a book up to your page; its card is a listing-based check, and it is held to the same stamp rules as every other card on the shelf. The reading shelf explains what each tool is for and who it does not suit.
Our research
Beyond the cards, we publish original research with our sister reading sites, built from primary sources such as app store listings, official pricing pages and help centers, each cell sourced and dated. The current studies are a review of recap and spoiler-safety features in 30 reading apps and a price index of reading, audiobook and tracker apps for the fourth quarter of 2026. Summaries for ADHD readers, with charts and links to the full datasets, are on the research page.
What this site is not
ADHD Bookmark is not a clinic, a coach or a medical publisher. Nothing here is diagnosis or treatment, and no card is a substitute for a conversation with your clinician. It is a catalog of supports: the timers, planners, apps, communities and services that make ordinary days easier, with honest notes on what each one costs and who it does not suit.
